Rather than paying by the hour, you take out a single Bromley Parks Tennis membership, which the council puts at £37 a year for the whole family with nothing to pay on top, and that covers eight park sites: Croydon Road Recreation Ground, Willett Recreation Ground, Coney Hall, Kings Hall Road in Cator Park, Church House Gardens, Kelsey Park, Poverest Park and Goddington Park.
Once the court is settled, the game still has to be arranged, and that is the part that drags. Courting runs it for Bromley clubs: it takes the booking, builds fair doubles, keeps the queue moving on a club night, and puts games in front of members on the evenings they have said they are free.

- Bromley runs its park courts on an annual membership rather than an hourly fee. The council states Bromley Parks Tennis costs £37 a year, covers the whole family, and carries no charges in addition to that. Courts are then booked online, and the scheme came out of a refurbishment programme the council put at over £200,000 with the LTA.
- Which park in Bromley has the most tennis courts?
- Croydon Road Recreation Ground in Beckenham, with eight courts on the operator's booking sheet, followed by Willett Recreation Ground at six. Coney Hall Recreation Ground and Kings Hall Road in Cator Park have four each.
- Are the tennis courts in Crystal Palace Park part of Bromley Parks Tennis?
