Tennis in Hammersmith and Fulham
No clubs on Courting here yet, and nine public court venues across the borough.
Hammersmith & Fulham publishes exactly what it has, which is rarer than it should be: nine sites, with a court count for each. Bishops Park is much the largest at twelve adult courts and four junior ones, managed by Rock's Lane. Ravenscourt Park has seven and South Park four, with three apiece at Brook Green, Hurlingham Park, Linford Christie Stadium and Normand Park, and two each at Eelbrook Common and Hammersmith Park.
Courts, then, the borough is not short of. What no booking page can hand you is three other people at your standard on a Wednesday evening. That is the job Courting does for clubs here: the booking, the team composition and a queue that keeps turning, in one place instead of spread across a booking site, a spreadsheet and a chat nobody reads in time.

Tennis in Hammersmith and Fulham: common questions
- Which park in Hammersmith and Fulham has the most tennis courts?
- Bishops Park, beside Craven Cottage on the river, with twelve adult courts and four junior courts on the council's own count. They are managed by Rock's Lane Multi Sports Centre rather than booked through the borough's pages, so the booking route is different from most of the borough.
- Can you play tennis for free in Hammersmith and Fulham?
- In two ways. Hammersmith Park's two courts are free and need no booking, so you can turn up and play. And at the parks on the council's booking system, courts are free between 7am and 9am every day of the week except where they are being used for coaching, though you still need to book the slot.
- Do you need a membership to book a court in Hammersmith and Fulham?
- No. You can pay and play up to 24 hours ahead without one. A free membership is worth having anyway: it lets you book up to seven days in advance and drops the adult court fee from £16 to £12, with floodlights £6 on top either way. Junior bookings are £6 within 24 hours of play.
