Tennis in Hillingdon
No clubs on Courting here yet, and ten public court venues across the borough.
Hillingdon runs its park tennis as one flat-rate network: ten sites from Harmondsworth by the Heathrow perimeter up to Moorhall in Harefield, thirty-three courts between them, and £5 an hour at every single one. The council publishes the address and the court count for each, which makes this one of the easier boroughs in London to plan a game in.
Where is the easy half. Getting three other people of roughly your standard onto the same court at the same hour is the half that falls over. Courting settles that first: the group is assembled from members who have said they are free, and the court is held for the people who are actually coming, so an hour that somebody paid for does not end up with two players on it.
